
What to Bring
- Casual clothing suitable for both warm summer temperatures and cool air-conditioned buildings (see weather chart below)
- A poster on an education-related topic (optional)
- A costume for the farewell party reflecting your ethnic background or where you now live (optional)
- A CD of music from where you live or from your ethnic background (optional)
- A LAN cable if you bring a laptop and want to connect to the internet in your room

- At the workshop site in Kobe, are there places to check email using laptops or is there an internet cafe nearby?
There is internet in every room - The electric voltage is 100 Volts in Japan. What type of socket is used? 3 jacks? 2 jacks?
The electrical system is 100V and the outlets are American style (2 slots with a third hole for ground)
- About Handphones - Can we buy a prepaid chip for our GSM hand phones? How much is it for a new number?

- The adaptors for our hand phones are for 220 voltage, should we bring a small stepdown adaptor to 110 volt?

- What will meals be like?
All meals will be buffet style (with options for various diets and with food content described)
- What is included in the rooms?
All bedrooms include a bath towel, face towel, tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. Hairdryers are available but limited (you may want to bring your own)
- Is there laundry available?
Washers and dryers are available at no charge - What is the exact name and address/telephone number for the workshop site? (this is needed for visas)
